Energiser Earthing Cable & Stakes

The electric fence wire is the first part of the circuit and the ground (earth) is the second, when an animal touches a fence it completes the circuit and a current passes through the animal giving it a shock.
An electric fence has to be correctly earthed to work effectively, it is achieved by using electric fence lead out cables connecting to electric fence earthing stakes, if the fence is sited in dry conditions additional earth stakes will be required to compensate for poor conductivity.
