MOT Testing

We have an onsite, purpose built MOT Station.  This enables us to provide a top quality service to all our customers. 

We cover all types of vehicle from a motorbike to a motor home, we have the facilities to cover all sizes within the MOT classes. Our test lanes have been specially designed for the largest of vehicles. 

We've seen it all here from a monkey bike to a lorry/camper conversion, our enthusiastic MOT staff love to see things that are a little bit out of the ordinary.

If your vehicle fails, our one stop service department has the qualified staff to quickly get you on the road again.

Having an MOT doesn't have to be a drag either.  Why not take in the local scenery with a country walk or sample the local cuisine and hospitality of 'The Nags Head' or 'The Four Bells' our local Woodborough village pubs, or even just put your feet up on our sofa and read the paper.

Classification of the Motorbike MOT's Classes 1 & 2 ( I & II)

• Motorbicycles
• Motorbicycles with sidecar 
   

Motorbike classification is based on engine size; Class 1 incorporates any motorbike up to 200cc, Class 2 any motorbike over 200cc. 

Our qualified and enthusiastic motorbike MOT testing staff are bikers themselves, they have a genuine appreciation for the two-wheeled variety of vehicle.

The cost of a class 1 or 2 MOT is only £29.50

Classification of Class 4 (IV) MOT's

• Cars (up to 8 Passenger Seats)
• Motor Caravans (Motor Homes)
• Quads
• Dual Purpose Vehicles
• Private Hire Vehicles & PSV's (up to 8 seats)
• Goods vehicles (up to 3,000kg DGW)
• Ambulances and Taxis
• Private Passenger Vehicles and Ambulances (9-12 passenger seats)
   

This class is the most popular as it covers a considerable range of vehicles, anything from a Quad bike to a Motorhome. Our state of the art MOT test station has the facilities to cater for them all.

Classification of Class 5 (V) MOT's

• Private Passenger (13-16 Passenger Seats)
   

We find that most vehicles covered under a class 5 (V) MOT are minibuses.

Classification of Class 7 (VI) MOT's

•  Goods Vehicles (over 3000kg up to 3500kg DGW)
   

The Class 7 MOT covers many of the larger Goods Vehicles.
